Having clear, radiant, velvety soft skin can erase years from your appearance and enhance your self-confidence. Traditional laser skin resurfacing treatments affect the entire surface of the skin and require a lengthy recovery period. The modern treatment of choice is Fraxel®, which effectively renews the skin's texture and appearance with minimal downtime.
Each patient who visits our Laser and Skin Rejuvenation Center receives personalized treatment from experienced skin care professionals. Request a consultation online or call us in East Brunswick and Red Bank, New Jersey at (732) 254-1919.

Fraxel can enhance the skin on most any area of the body including the face, chest, and hands. Women and men who visit us in New Jersey appreciate Fraxel treatments for their effectiveness and versatility. It effectively treats a range of skin conditions including:
- Sun spots, freckles, and uneven pigmentation
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Acne scars
- Poor skin tone and texture
During your skin care consultation, we will perform a detailed skin analysis to determine whether Fraxel or another skin care treatment is most suited for your unique needs. We also offer specially selected physician-strength skin care products to help you maintain your improvements at home.
How It Works
Instead of affecting the entire surface of the skin like other laser skin resurfacing treatments, the Fraxel laser treats tiny, pinpoint columns of skin. Because alternating areas of skin are untouched, the skin's healing process is enhanced. The laser does not harm the surface of the skin and instead penetrates deeper where it removes imperfections, improves existing collagen, and increases production of new collagen. This results in clear skin that is firmer, smoother, and younger looking.
What to Expect
Fraxel treatments are as convenient as they are effective. Performed by Dr. Robert Herbstman, a board-certified plastic surgeon in New Jersey, this simple in-office procedure requires only a topical anesthetic. Most patients can resume their everyday activities the day of treatment. A series of 3 to 5 treatments is usually required to provide optimal improvements that last for years.
