Meet Robert A. Herbstman, MD, FACS
Dr. Robert A. Herbstman is a prominent plastic surgeon in New Jersey combining over 20 years of experience and knowledge with an artist's touch. He has earned a reputation as a dedicated, trusted plastic surgeon who cares deeply about achieving superior results for his patients.
Dr. Herbstman is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rochester, College of Arts and Sciences and received his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Rochester, School of Medicine. Dr. Herbstman completed his General Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where he was Chief Resident. Following his General Surgery training he completed his Plastic Surgery residency at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School University Hospital.

In addition to providing exceptional cosmetic surgery, Dr. Herbstman holds a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Herbstman is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Herbstman is certified as an inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.

Meet Yelena Barsky
Yelena comes to us with 28 years of experience. She began her career at the Medical College in Kharkov, Ukraine as a registered nurse. Yelena was previously affiliated with the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where she held the position of Medical Aesthetician Micropigmentation Specialist (permanent make-up). In addition, she has extensive experience in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, acne treatments, and in customizing individual skin care programs. As a Practitioner, Yelena's focus is on pre-teen, teen and adult acne; age management; pigmentation concerns and permanent make-up. She is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals and the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists.
