I put on 30 pounds. I don’t know how, but they just got there. So one day my mother said to me, Maryanne, for someone as active as you sure have a big ass. So when my mother said that, I said, I went to Weight Watchers, so I lost the 30 pounds. I believe the weight loss created a little bit of looseness in my face, maybe because 30 pounds is a lot of weight. So when I went to see the plastic surgeon,
he explained what he would do to smooth it, to lift it, and he said, we’re just going to give you a refreshed look because I didn’t want
my skin pulled too tight because I still wanted to look like a mature woman. What he did was I had stitches around my ear and to the
back, and there was actually skin bunched up behind my ears, and he said, that’s going to be there, but you can massage that.
And I had two lumps on the back of my ears, but they subsided. But I will still say it’s a little over a year, and I still have a little bit of a funny feeling, but he says, it all comes back.
